Norway. Reasonable fitness, concentration and a sense of balance are needed for this 25km to 50km per day safari in remote Northern Norway. Accommodation on the first and last night is in unique cabin lodges before travelling with your dog team to a remote wilderness cabin for 2 nights. Not easy to get to but a special place to visit. Dec 2009 to May 2010. 5 days, 3 days with dogs, £1045 plus flights.
Sweden. Run for 2 persons or more upon request, this offers you a great short break holiday which will fully prepare you to take on longer more challenging adventures next time. Great introduction for those who wish to learn and have a challenge as part of their holiday adventure. Available Dec to Apr, 5 days, 3 days with your dog team, £1225 + flights. 2 nights in lodge, 2 in tent or mountain cabin.
Norway. A great holiday adventure allowing you to learn the art of dog sledding whilst staying in comfortable lodge accommodation. You will have 3 carefully structured training days to learn all about running a dog team. You then have a rest day with options to try out other winter activities before having 2 longer day trips to really get out into the wilderness with your own team. £1195 to £1395 plus travel.
Sweden. A week long adventure based on day trips from a comfortable base, although an overnight in a wilderness cabin is possible. Tailored to the clients ability and wishes the programme is not meant to be arduous and is ideal for beginners. Possibility of visiting local shops and attractions. Departures: 28 Dec to 3 Jan, 18th to 24th Jan, 1 to 7 Feb (winter market) and 15 to 21 Feb 2011. £1485 plus flights.
Sweden. An ideal holiday for someone who would like to try out wilderness dog sledding. Based mainly in a comfortable lodge with day trips to gain confidence and experience, the adventure ends with an overnight trip to a mountain cabin (or even tent in good weather). 5 days, 3 days with your team of dogs. Departures: 10 & 24 Jan, 7 Feb cost £1175, 21 Feb & 7 Mar cost £1275. Group size 2 to 4 persons.
Sweden. Travel through forests draped in snow in Lapland with wonderful opportunities to see the Northern Lights during the dark polar nights, see the glittering snow, breathe pure air and a silence so intense you can almost hear it! Overnight in simple cabins, everyone helping the guide. Days may be short but the huts will be cosy. Dec to Feb. 8 days, up to 6 days with your dog team: £1450 plus flights.
Finland. This is an extended version of the Special Safari - Just for 2. On this adventure you have twice as long with the dogs giving you time to really get into the art of driving a dog team and to completely wind down in a beautifully relaxing area in Northern Finland. A special gift for anyone. 6 days, 5 nights, 4 days on safari. £1435 inclusive per person plus flights to Kajaani.
Norway. This safari will take you right along the Swedish - Norwegian Border. Firstly you will have 3 introductory days, then a longer day trip near to a local National Park wilderness, before embarking on a 2 day adventure to stay overnight in a cosy but primitive cabin in the middle of nowhere. Departures every Saturday from 20th Nov 2010 to 16th Apr 2011. £1500 (£1295 off season) per person excluding travel.
Finland. Karelia is an unspoilt region of Finland next to the Russian border. This is your chance to explore the nature reserves and protected National Parks in the area with your own team of 3 to 6 dogs. Simple cabin and dormitory accommodation but with excellent hosts and a very homely adventure. Maximum of 4 guests. 7 days, 6 nights, 5 days on forest trails with your team of dogs. £1475 plus flights.
Finland. You'll be able to experience all things Finnish and have 5 days driving your own husky team through the wilderness on this 8 day adventure. Stay in wilderness cabins, sleep in an Igloo (optional!!), experience a sauna, jump in an ice hole (also optional!!) - even enjoy an Arctic Jacuzzi. Time also to see Reindeers, try snowshoeing or XC skiing and visit the local village. £1250 and £1395 excluding flights.
Finland. If you wish to travel through one of the most scenic areas in Finland then this is the holiday for you. The rolling mountains of the Pallas-Yllas National Park are interspersed with lakes and open forest. Accommodation is an atrractive mix of lakeside house and wilderness cabin.
